ABOUT THE ROLE

The Analyst, guided by Project Managers and Directors, conducts quantitative analysis to provide top-notch solutions in the Supply Chain and Solutions field. Responsibilities include working with a Strategy Project Team to meet client requirements, developing supply chain solutions, data manipulation, business case modelling, and stakeholder engagement while adhering to safety protocols.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working under supervision of an experienced Strategy Project Team to deliver requirements for multiple clients, which may include:
• Conceptualising and modelling supply chain solution alternatives to agreed client requirements.
• Specifying data requirements to extract/collect this and format to enable its use within the project.
• Performing the manipulation of large databases and data cleansing using Excel and database tools.
• Developing project documentation that is of a standard that can be presented to a client.
• Developing business case models to establish the investment case for proposed transformations.
• Supporting the preparation and deliver of project management plans.
• Engaging and developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment to project deliverables.
• Complying with all safety requirements.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will need to have the following skills and attributes:

• Supply Chain functional knowledge in key supply chain areas, such as distribution network design, warehousing and DC’s, logistics, warehousing and DC’s, domestic and international freight, inventory, S&OP, logistics finance.
• Previous supply chain experience from 3PL/LSPs, consulting or supply chain functions in other industries
• Advanced data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel
• Advanced presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• A strong commercial and business focus
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, ideally within Supply Chain, Logistics or Engineering/IT.
