ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, developing growth strategies, and managing the sales process to drive revenue and market expansion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
• Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth
• Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
• Researching prospective accounts in target markets
• Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
• Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
• Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals
• Training business development staff
• Attending conferences and industry events, amongst others.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will need to have the following skills and attributes:

• Business Development, Sales, and Marketing skills
• Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Client relationship management and negotiation skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets
• Knowledge of healthcare or laboratory industries is a plu
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
