ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of the WMS Operations project team, the primary goal is to ensure the new Manhattan Active WM (Warehouse Management) software and related technologies meet all business requirements of the organisation. This will allow for a seamless transition to the new WM software and the opportunity for efficiency gains operationally in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will:

  • Assist in the development and documentation of as-is and to-be operational processes. Ensuring all aspects of the business that interact with WM are captured.
  • Collaborate with the Change Team to ensure training materials and UAT align with project operational requirements.
  • Review and support updates to sites Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) to ensure they are current and effective.
  • Ensure the LM system requirements support operational needs across DCs nationally.
  • Configure the LM system to meet DC requirements.
  • Train the DC management team so they become self-sufficient with configuration and how to operate LM.
  • Ensure that the LM reporting provides excellent insights into labour utilisation.
  • Offer on-site support during the go-live phases to ensure smooth transitions and address any system or training-related issues.
  • Assist the user acceptance testing team with writing user stories based on requirements.
  • Get involved in UAT so that the WM & LM systems are ready for the go live.
  • Report back on UAT issues and work on bug resolution.
  • Hands on testing of integrations, RF equipment & automation in mock go lives.
  • Support a culture of safety by following and leading safe behaviours in our workplace.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • To be eligible for this opportunity, you will need to have the following skills and attributes:
  • Proven experience in BA requirements
  • Strong ability to create and deliver testing content across various formats and environments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and adapt to dynamic project needs.
  • Flexibility to work from different locations as needed.
