ABOUT THE ROLE

Overseeing and coordinating all operations across Sea, Air, and Land logistics both locally in Australia and on a global scale, while nurturing and strengthening relationships within clients’ comprehensive Supply Chain networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage tender freight queries for inbound and outbound logistics
  • Coordinate operational logistics, both locally and globally, according to project timelines
  • Ensure timely transportation of procurement
  • Maintain up-to-date logistic data, including vessel and material tracking
  • Participate in logistics solutions

Critical Relationships

Internal:

  • Freight Forwarder: RFQ, booking, tracking, and consulting
  • Supply Chain: Close collaboration in all logistic operations
  • Local Transporter: RFQ, booking, tracking, and consulting
  • Sales: Pricing logistics for sales projects
  • Warehouse: Oversee internal movement of goods and delivery
  • Customs Broker: Coordinate all customs clearance in Australia

External:

  • Supplier Relationship: Collaborate in all steps of logistic operations
  • External Assembly Partner: Coordinate documentation and inbound/outbound operations
  • Global Offices: Coordinate logistics for global offices worldwide
  • 3PL: Manage transfer of goods and delivery between suppliers and assembly

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will need to have the following skills and attributes:

  • Degree qualified with freight, logistics or supply chain
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years experience in a logistic operation role
  • A deep understanding of INCOTERMS
  • A proactive mindset and ability to voice opinions
  • Be Bold and challenge status quo
  • High emotional intelligence; resilient
  • Enjoys the organized chaos of a business that is rapidly growing and expanding globally
  • Works collaboratively with superior stakeholder relationship management capability
  • Strong team player with can do attitude
