ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Enterprise Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of identifying, nurturing and closing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with expertise in software solutions and a track record of driving business growth through successful partnerships and sales strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will:

  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with product development, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure that client needs are met, and products are aligned with market demand.
  • Generate high-quality leads and manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. Identify potential clients, engage them, and present our software solutions in a compelling manner.
  • Generate high-quality leads through prospecting, cold calls, inbound inquiries, and networking.
  • Articulate the features, benefits, and value proposition of the software to prospective clients.
  • Contribute to the company’s overall strategic planning and vision by providing insights and recommendations based on software market knowledge.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will need to have the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience in business development and sales within the software sector, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience in face-to-face sales
  • Industry experience in tech, within the logistics, transportation, or inventory sector (or comparable industries)
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software solutions and emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
