ABOUT THE ROLE

This multifaceted role carries a wide range of responsibilities, with a primary focus on ensuring the overall success of implementation projects. It also involves overseeing critical project phases, advising clients on change management, conducting ongoing risk analysis, and providing sales support. Furthermore, this role includes team members, effective communication with C-level executives, strong engagement management, influencing skills, and the ability to up-sell and manage customer relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will:

  • Will direct large and complex projects with significant P&L impact.
  • Will co-ordinate project resources to meet P&L outcomes, customer deliverables and contractual obligations.
  • Operates with considerable latitude. Required to develop solutions to non-routine issues with limited guidance from senior leadership.
  • Reaches decisions under conditions of uncertainty.
  • Uses judgment and discretion to determine work priorities and shows maturity to keep organisational goals above individual goals.
  • Resolves complex problems through consultation with Professional Services leadership and client where the issues are difficult to identify, and facts may be insufficient or misleading.
  • Employs creative and innovative thinking to bring successful resolution to high-impact, complex problems.
  • Approves changes to project scope following review by local leadership and client.
  • Serves as a vendor project manager, with day-to-day responsibility for ensuring that the clients achieve quality products and timely services.
  • Requires regular contact and reporting responsibility with client at C-suite level and internally within M2X up to CEO level.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflict.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will need to have the following skills and attributes:

  • Four-year bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, logistics, or information systems. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of prior software implementation consulting experience with TMS or supply chain software experience an advantage.
  • 10-15 years of experience leading large projects at a strategic level
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Resource planning and management experience are essential.
  • Average travel 15%
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage end to end projects resulting in successful go-lives.
  • Proven record of effectively designing and scoping complex projects
  • Experience working in a client/customer facing role deploying complex supply chain software solutions.
  • Ability to independently use project management software and resource planning tools.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies essential
  • Demonstrated experience in adapting to change.
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organised.
  • Ability to leverage expertise from cross functional teams and influence outcomes that maximise outcomes for our clients and business.
  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Significant experience required including 10-15 years of experience in project management role.
  • PMI certification is preferred.
