A rare opportunity for a commercially minded CFO to shape, scale, and lead finance across a multi-country operation. Our client is a fast-growing, privately owned cold chain and logistics business operating across multiple countries, supporting temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution for major supply chain networks.

Entrepreneurial in nature, with active expansion plans and a strong focus on operational efficiency, scalability, and long-term growth.

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead all finance and administrative functions across a growing international business, with a core presence in Singapore and operations spanning multiple countries.

This is a high-impact leadership role suited to a senior finance professional who thrives in dynamic, evolving environments and enjoys building structure, driving performance, and partnering closely with executive stakeholders.

You will play a central role in financial governance, operational finance, strategic decision-making, and growth initiatives including M&A and project pipeline analysis.

About the Role

As CFO, you will take full ownership of the finance function across multiple geographies, ensuring strong financial control, compliance, and reporting, while also acting as a strategic partner to the board and leadership team.

This is not a purely reporting-focused CFO role, it requires a balance of hands-on operational finance leadership and strategic commercial input.

You will be responsible for building and coordinating finance activities across regions, managing external relationships (including banks and auditors), and driving financial performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and coordinate all finance and administrative activities across multiple countries and business units
• Lead the preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Deliver high-quality reporting packages to board members and executive stakeholders
• Oversee regional finance teams, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting
• Manage cashflow forecasting, P&L reporting, and financial performance analysis
• Drive annual budgeting processes and ongoing financial forecasting
• Conduct financial analysis across pipeline projects and potential M&A opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with local banks and lending institutions to support funding requirements
• Oversee audit processes and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (including SOX where applicable)
• Manage month-end processes and ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and audit-ready
• Improve operational efficiency and identify cost optimisation opportunities across the business
• Support operational teams with pricing, margin analysis, and productivity improvements
• Lead debt management and collections processes
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to finance and operational teams
• Ensure alignment between financial strategy and overall business objectives

Skills & Experience

• 15+ years’ experience in finance leadership roles, including senior management or CFO-level exposure
• CA or CPA qualified
• Experience working across multiple countries or regional operations
• Strong experience in financial reporting, compliance, and corporate finance
• Proven ability to engage with board members and executive stakeholders
• Experience in cashflow management, budgeting, and financial planning
• Exposure to M&A, investment analysis, or project financial modelling highly regarded
• Background in warehousing, logistics, or operational environments advantageous
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability
• Advanced Excel skills and high level of financial modelling capability
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Additional Requirements
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English (essential for regional stakeholder engagement)

Why This Role?

This is an opportunity to step into a true leadership position where you will influence both financial performance and strategic direction.

Unlike larger corporate CFO roles, this position offers:

• Broad ownership across finance, operations, and strategy
• Direct exposure to board-level decision-making
• Involvement in growth initiatives including M&A and expansion
• The ability to build, shape, and optimise finance functions across regions
• A fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where your impact is visible
