Due to continued growth and strong demand for advisory services across distribution centre design and supply chain transformation, our client is seeking an Associate Director – DC Design to join their consulting leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior consulting role where you will influence major supply chain projects while helping shape the future direction of a leading advisory practice in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Role

As Associate Director – Distribution Centre Design, you will play a critical leadership role across both project delivery and business growth. You will lead large-scale supply chain consulting engagements, guide project teams, and partner with senior client stakeholders to deliver innovative and commercially impactful solutions.

This role sits at the intersection of consulting leadership, technical expertise and client development. You will oversee complex distribution centre design and supply chain optimisation projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards while supporting the broader executive leadership team in strengthening the organisation’s reputation as a leading supply chain consultancy.

In addition to leading projects, you will contribute to proposal development, thought leadership and the continued growth of the consulting practice across key industries.

Manage project teams and resources effectively, balancing workloads to deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines and budgets.

Ensure accurate forecasting, tracking and reporting of project time and resource utilisation to support revenue planning, invoicing and profitability analysis.

Work closely with Engagement Directors and senior stakeholders to proactively manage client expectations and communicate project progress, risks and opportunities.

Identify and manage operational, commercial and reputational risks across engagements, escalating where appropriate.

Oversee project closure processes including invoicing, post-project reviews, intellectual property capture and knowledge management.

Business Development & Client Engagement:

Lead the development of compelling client proposals and project bids for supply chain consulting engagements.

Contribute innovative frameworks, methodologies and case studies to strengthen proposal content and client value propositions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients to support ongoing business development.

Develop recognised expertise and thought leadership across nominated supply chain domains and industry sectors.

Practice & Team Development:

Support the recruitment and development of high-performing consulting talent.

Mentor and coach consulting team members, helping them develop the technical and professional capabilities required for consulting excellence.

Provide constructive feedback and guidance through performance reviews, coaching conversations and ongoing project development.

Contribute to the continued evolution of the consulting practice through knowledge sharing, methodology development and capability building.
