Our client is an Australian, independently owned and operated, international supply chain management specialist with decades of experience across multiple industry sectors, providing end-to-end logistic solutions. They offer their customers a comprehensive portfolio of value-added supply chain solutions including 3PL warehousing and distribution, ocean and airfreight forwarding, customs clearance and sophisticated IT systems and tracking services.
They now have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Supervisor to join their team in Prestons.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Supervise the overall performance of the Customer Service Department.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal/external client base.
- Hands on leadership of a small team of customer support officers.
- Find solutions to reduce costs and increase profitability.
- Handling any customer escalations and resolution.
- Reporting on performance and investigation of stock shortages, delivery errors.
- Ensure that administrative tasks are completed daily before shift ends.
- Lead process improvement, development of SOP’s and SLA’s.
- Development of your team – training, coaching etc.
- Weekly DIFOT reporting for Customer outbound orders.
- Back up support for Site Manager when required.
- Lead & prepare yearly HACCP/Organic & ISO 9001audits.
- Conduct yearly staff appraisals for direct reports.
Skills, Experience, & Qualifications
To be eligible for this opportunity, you will need to have the following skills and attributes:
- High level of personal integrity and accountability for performance
- Customer service experience.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated ability to follow company policies and procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Completing reporting in a timely manner
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
