Manager – WMS

We’re currently seeking an experienced WMS Manager in Syd/Melb to work for Asia-Pacific’s leading transformation consultancy. Our client is the #1 advisory firm in APAC for complex industrial property projects. The main purpose of this role is to consult to clients on a range of DC related topics including WMS to drive outcomes including cost reduction, performance improvement and optimization.

Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder engagement with clear communication of who and what is required for all activities
- Planning the scope of the work required and resource requirements.
- Resource monitoring to align with design meetings and activities.
- Agreeing success criteria with all stakeholders.
- Building and aligning the team to a common set of values to deliver the project objectives.
- Assigning roles and responsibilities to the IT project team
- Assigning tasks to project resources
- The timely delivery of each of the agreed deliverables
- Management of any changes that occur to the deliverables, during the life of the project.
- Reporting status and issues to the Project management levels
- Reporting project costs to date and estimated costs to completion to the Project Sponsors
- Reporting project risks to the Business Project Manager, Project Sponsors and Steering Committee.
- Taking timely, corrective action to achieve the project objectives.
- Ensuring an accurate record of project details are kept.
- Negotiating access to financial, human, and environmental/material resources
- Presenting all project issues, risks, change requests and project performance information.
